The battles are fought and won in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3,20;2:6;3:10;6:12). God raised Christ from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly realms. We need Spiritual Weapons to fight this war that we are facing. One of our weapons is prayer. We pray, “Father let Your will be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven!”

The essence of prayers is in the Lord Prayer, Jesus taught us this prayer. The disciples had asked Jesus to show them how to pray. To pray this Prayer is to start by putting God first, exalting His name, and worshipping Him. Our Father, He is indeed our Heavenly Father, through whom, all our earthly fathers, were given. Each of us also likewise was given the privilege, and blessing to experience life.

God, Our Heavenly Father, is our source of strength and life. We must acknowledge Him, His Sovereignty and Divinity when we are praying. We must trust in the Lord, with all our hearts, and lean not to our understanding, but acknowledge Him(God) in all our ways and He will direct our path.
We need spiritual weapons to fight. Therefore we must, recognize and learn what we are up against but being confident that even more significant is God that lives within us.

Spiritual warfare is in the heavens, we take part in the fight whether we realize it or not. Eph 6:12 stated that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly placed.”

Prayer is indeed one weapon that we use to fight the forces of darkness that try to come against us.

Jesus prayed, “Not my will Father, but thine be done,” Amen. Jesus our Ultimate Example, our Teacher, our Master agreed with God’s every Word. We should as well, for the Lord has said: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” Amen! Shout Hallelujah!

Pray, “Our Father which art in Heaven; Hallowed would be thy Name.” God’s name is to be Hallowed. His name is above every name. His name is worthy of worship. We shall worship the Lord thy God, and He only shall thou serve. We must show reverence, respect, and honour the Lord’s name. Amen.

Thank God for the opportunity to give Him glory in our life. Lord, let your Glory rest on us.

Pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” Notice we have put God and His Kingdom first. God will reign over all we see before us.

We want God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. God’s kingdom is the best kingdom, an everlasting kingdom. God’s kingdom has come near, and we can have it in our hearts, and He can reign in our lives.

God knows what best for us as His people and He has given us the opportunity, to choose. We receive Him and His Kingdom as He has accepted us, through His grace and mercy. Jesus has come to reconcile us onto God. He has come to redeem us, and He has begun to save, heal and forgive us.

While we were sinners, Christ died for us. We must receive Him as our Lord and Savior that is the only way to have access to God’s Kingdom. Don’t reject Jesus! Receive Him into your heart today, and give your life to Him, Amen. Hell wasn’t made for you! Hell was prepared for the devil and his fallen angels. Read the stories found in the (66) books of the Bible for yourself. Ask God for wisdom to understand, and to know His plan of salvation, as well as His will and purpose for your life.

Lift your voice to God and turn your heart toward Him, obey His Word, and be delivered from this evil and perverse generation. Those who reject Jesus, what hope is there for that? Are you wiser than God the Father Himself? He has invited you to receive Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Jesus has spoken and told us that He is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no way to the Father except through His name. We have prayed as Jesus taught His disciples to pray… Our Father, which art in Heaven, Hallowed, be thy Name, Let the Thy Kingdom come, Let Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven, Amen.

All of what God wants for us should indeed come first. He has a marvellous plan for our lives through His salvation, but we must choose to receive it by faith and trust in Jesus Christ. There is no other name to be saved and gain eternal life.

His name is to be revered, respected, loved, praised, adored, exalted and worshipped. He is transcendent above all that in the world. He is above the whole universe, and all that’s in it. Our  Father, He wants us to be His children. He is God, and He is our Father, that loves us. We must obey His Word and take heed to what He teaches and demonstrates to us through Jesus. The Spirit of God comes to those who ask Him and helps us in the things of God, Amen.

Hallowed be His name is holy. He is the beginning and the end, the First and the Last, The Alpha and the Omega, The Lord of Lord, The King of kings, The Prince of Peace, The Mighty God, The Wonderful Counsellor. He is all and all. Praise God! Amen.

His Kingdom is the most significant Kingdom; He has an everlasting Kingdom. Thank God for the Kingdom of God. Glory to His name. He has gone to prepare a place for us, and He is on His way back to receive those in His Kingdom. Have you accepted Him? He will deliver the Kingdom to the Father after He has reigned on earth in the millennium for 1000 years, Amen. Are we ready? Praise God. Amen!.

Our God is incredibly awesome, faithful and true. Please accept the grace of God by which He saves us. Amen. Once we are done with praying, we start exalting, worshipping, and acknowledging God for who He is.

We are in a warfare. We must learn to fight on our knees, in prayer. We must not fight one another, but love one another, and fight for each other. Am I my brother’s keeper. Fight the good fight of faith. Then we ask for His Kingdom to come and will, to be done, Amen.

After we have placed God in the proper prioritized place in our life.  We are ready to dress up in the whole armour of God and fight alongside Him for the Kingdom to advance, expand and take territories, from the enemy and win souls for Christ.

The Lord has equipped us for battle. He makes us followers of Christ, and we become like Him. We war to set captives free. We attack to cause the blind to see. We war to set free those that are bound. We war to heal those who are sick. We fight to resurrect those that are dead in sins and trespasses to come to life and liberty in Christ Jesus. We raid the enemy camp and take back our fellow human beings that He had made captives and bound them with the shackles of sins and transgression. The Lord came not to condemn, but to save you. The Lord came to fight mighty warfare and give us the victory. We are triumphant in this war, in Jesus name amen! Put on the armour of God so you can stand, in these last and evil days. Lord give us what we need to fight in this battle, Amen.

Then we humbly ask the Lord to give us this day our daily bread. Notice where our natural appetites are at in this prayer. All our spiritual needs are prayed for in regards to the Lord’s position in Heaven first. Heaven is His Throne and earth is His Footstool. The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof.

All souls belong to God! Don’t get lost in sin. The soul that sins, if not repented and saved and set free through Christ, will perish. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever, believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. If you find God, you will obey Him. Your obedience to His commandment is the evidence of your faith. Do you trust God? Obey His every word and let the light of Jesus shine through you, Amen.

God provides every need for you through Christ Jesus Our Lord. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us, our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass (external warfare)  against us. Notice we are to forgive first (internal war) before we ask forgiveness. Remember King David and Saul in his day. Also, know this,  God has purchased our redemption. Just as He has forgiven us, we as His children agree with Him to forgive others.

None of us deserves such love, but God in His mercy, love and grace forgave our sins through Jesus’ dying to pay for the penalty of our sins for us, which was through His death on the cross. He died in our place. We owe God our lives. What can we render to God for all He has done for us, Amen? Lead us, Lord, not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the Glory, Amen!

Our warfare is not with each other. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. But against evil powers, principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,  against spiritual host of wickedness in high places. Remember 2 Cor 10:3-4, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of the stronghold. Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and being ready to punish all disobedience when your compliance is fulfilled.”  Amen!

More next time… Spiritual Warfare through prayer is the way we must fight to win the souls of men and women, girls and boys. Amen. This means war!!
