“Beloved, I pray that in every way, you may succeed and prosper and be in good health, physically, just as I know your soul prospers, spiritually.”
– 2 John 1:2 AMP
God knows the motives of every heart. Nothing can hide from Him. He also reminded us, His children, to ask, knock, and seek Him. I invite God in every area in my finance, career, vision, business, economic, and marketplace. I seek Him to prosper me to live fully in Him. I am a channel of blessings to nations.
Prosperity means increasing in wealth, riches, affluence, and success. God promised to bless His children and prosper us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, and socially. (3 John 1:2). However, Jesus also warned us that there would be troubles, trials, and tribulations in life. John 16:33, Jesus warned me of the dangers and hardship of this world, but He comforts me with His promise of peace and the reassurance that He has already overcome the world, and in Him, I am more than a conqueror and should be at peace, despite it all. The Christian’s life is not void of trouble, uncertainties, and adversities. But God has given us a living hope and His promises to comfort, rescue, prosper, and bless me, despite what I faced in life. Acts 14:22 (NKJV) says, “Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ‘we must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.’”
I pray that in every way, you may succeed, be victorious and prosperous. Above all things, you may prosper and be in good health (physically, mentally, emotionally, financially), just as I know your soul prospers spiritually.
As you are a servant of God, He has the pleasure and takes delight in your prosperity and well-being.
So remember this day that God has…
- created you to succeed,
- purposed you to win,
- empowered you to overcome,
- designed you for the manifestation of His grace and love, favored you to flourish,
- anointed and appointed you for His blessings, and
- predestined you to prosper, above all things,
…so that God will be glorified and magnified for the prosperity, wealth, riches, affluence, honor, influence, wisdom, virtue, and the success of His servants.
